Ever since I got it a few months ago, my M4 Max Studio will not auto-sleep. The display goes off, but I know it's not sleeping as when my guitar is plugged in I can still hear it if I pluck the strings, and phone calls still come through.

If I select Sleep from the 'Apple' menu in top left, it sleeps OK.

The option in Energy 'Prevent automatic sleeping when display is off' is disabled. I also tried unchecking 'wake for network access'.

Any ideas? I did post on Apple Community, but got nothing useful.

You can install Sleep Aid. It will tell you what processes might be keeping your Mac from sleeping.

Thanks. I'll give that a go, but it does sleep perfectly when Sleep is selected from the Apple Menu. Just doesn't auto sleep.

Is this app the same as the Sleep Aid Tracker at the App Store?
