The M4 mini is definitely in my future. I would love to pair it with a 27” 4K OLED monitor, but while I think I’ve seen such before I can not find anything like it. I DO see a mini LED 27” inch, but want to know about OLED in that size.

What do you mean you can't find any, have you actually done a web search? It takes me seconds to find multiple 27" OLED displays from multiple manufacturers.

re Basic's post above:

I, too, have been interested in 27" 4k OLED displays.

HOWEVER,
Just about all the 27" OLED displays are native 1440p (2560x1440), and NOT 4k.

Almost all the OLED 4k displays are 32".
This would make looking at the display in "looks like 1080p" (the "default" setting for Mac OS) problematic, as text would be too large when displayed at normal font sizes.

Does anyone have a 27" 4k OLED?
How's the text quality on it?
(I've also read that text on OLED's can sometimes be "not so good"...)

These are 27" OLED at 4k. I couldn't find more:
Philips 27E1N8900
ASUS ProArt PA27DCE

They are not good for text though I believe, due to their OLED pattern, as I assume they use an older LG panel. But rumors (That is, TFTCentral) haven't stated anything about new LG 27" OLED panels with updated pixel structure through 2026, so your only hope for a proper pixel layout is from Samsung. They MIGHT be coming out with some new generation panels here late 2025, but whether that turns out to be true is up to anyone.

There is no perfect OLED monitor out now, unless all you do is gaming or watching videos.

Friend pointed me to an Alienware 32” OLED… used there configuration to get to a 27” OLED. 900 bucks. I see a KTC mini-LED for about 700. Might be a better choice as it can get brighter (my computer room has a huge window facing west, it’s incredibly bright during the day), and sounds like it may help with the potentially blurry test. Just looked the latest KTC 27 mini-led is 540 bucks.
