M4 Pro - 12/16 or 14/20?

Bottom line: in tests that I saw, Mini M4 Pro 12/16 out-performed MBP 16" M4 Pro 14/20, most likely due to thermals.

Anyone have a 12/16 M4 Pro who does heavier tasks able to comment on performance?

There is already a huge uplift just from getting the M4 Pro, and seeing the 12/16 Mini be faster than the 14/20 MBP 16" makes me think thermal issues are a bigger problem than the raw performance of the processor.

Are we talking MBP 14 or 16"? The M4 does run hotter than previous gens so I'm not surprised that the M4 Mini outperforms it,
