Somebody(maybe at the Los Angeles show) just uploaded Geekbench AI scores for an M4Pro, 10/4, 48 gb machine:

single precision: 6489
half precision: 36752
quantized precision: 49844

Apple said on Wednesday that the neural engine would be 3x the M1Pro. This is actually 4.7x the M1Pro.

Pretty much the same score as M4 iPad Pro. Not surprising since M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max have the same Neural Engine.

almost 50% faster for quantized precision scores
Interesting. there doesn't seem to be an easy way to browse geekbench AI scores that I can see. How do I search for this? I'm interested in seeing how the Mac M chips compare to the iPhone chips for AI tasks. I can see myself using the writing tools on Mac, but I think the contextual AI stuff when it comes is infinitely more useful on iPhone - where I'd like it to be much faster.

There is no easy way to brows Geekbench AI. You have to go page by page looking for the scores
