Considering an M5 Max Studio for music production and general use. Though I just heard of the possibility of an M5 Max iMac. I prefer the all in one look though my concerns are over-heating and longevity among others. I hear if the processor dies you can't continue to use the screen with lets say a Mini or Studio (?). What do you guys think of the possibility of an M5 Max iMac as opposed to an M5 Max Studio ?

I still think keeping the computer + display separate is a good idea. Studio Display 2 will have 120Hz, good idea to get that.

I'm most likely going to get a Mac Studio M5 Ultra when it comes out next year, to upgrade my Mac Pro (honestly the single core performance is really slowing me down) and Tahoe basically ruined the performance.

Not a huge a fan of iMacs, unless I'm forced to use it. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple releases an iMac Pro M5 Max (even Ultra?) next year.
