Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me.

I have a Mac Os X PowerPC G5. My internal drive packed in so I bought an external hard drive (lite-on).

When I try to burn a CD with Toast 10, it keeps going to my internal hard drive. How do I change it to locate my external hard drive.

I have “scanned” for other drives but it cannot find it.

Any Ideas?

No need to make three threads about this.

What do you mean by "it keeps going to my internal hard drive"?

Do you see your external HDD in Finder? Can you or can you not access it via Toast?

Normally you either drag files/folders from Finder onto Toast (the area where it says to drag a files and folders into this area) or you click the add button and select files/folders via that dialog.

Sorry, but do you mean your CD/DVD (Superdrive) drive died?
If CD/DVD drive, you can select the drive in the bottom corner of Toast.
