Mac 2008 13" laptop - Mag safe Power adapter replacement

I have to replace the Mag safe Power adapter. After removing the screws on the main body of the Mac and removing the keyboard. Do you remove the power adapter? Or is there other components that you have to remove first? Sorry to ask but the first time repairing a Mac,
