It looks like you may have bitten off more than you can chew. Before you make things worse, I'd get the Mac back to Apple and just explain what you were trying to do...they are a friendly bunch and will help you out.

OP - I'm pretty sure that if you buy an iMac with an ssd it uses the PCI-e version and they do not include any of the wiring for the SATA. If you want to add a SATA drive, you'll need to buy some cables and also a mounting kit.

Personally, the way these new macs are built, I wouldn't even chance opening them for reasons like this :-/ Hope you manage to get the problem fixed :)

It's the cable. try to unplug/ plug it. You probably need a new one.

Also boot into safe mode and see if that continues.

yeah it is happening, i try to plugin again, seem now i can't see anything else. It is worst.

so cable right thanks so much.

100% replacement of the display.
I bought for 950$ new MD096 with a faulty display.
Display damaged during installation SSD

yeah, i heard it from the shop too, they said some stupid cable came with the screen, there is no part to be replaced.

that is totally stupid because the part is separated from the screen.

it is too monopoly.
