This is a follow up video to my previous experiment where I dictated an email to Siri that was sent to a Mac 512K.

In the new video, the Mac 512K itself talks to Siri, and requests directory listings and software to be downloaded to it.

I'm amazed that siri understands ye olde macspeech!

Love it!

Hearing the sound of the old keyboard takes me back to another time.

Shame macspeech isn't scriptable, but I wonder what the 512K can do next? :D

I really wish Siri would be able to do something else than just answer questions. Having a "real" dialogue between two computers would be hilarious...

RGDS,

The Mac 128K can use the speak program too!

Yeah... I did see that in the original Steve Jobs launch of the Mac.

I don't think I have the Speak Program - Need to sort that! :)

By the way... does anyone else find this slightly eerie? The way Siri responds to the Mac in a really efficient tone - it's fascinating the leaps in technology and very evident in your video. Well done this is great.

Thanks
