Mac accepts and then rejects Windows installation disk

hey am trying to install windows in a partition using bootcamp, have windows xp stage 2 on disk. i partition my hard drive and select install windows, leopard restarts, however after the white load screen it says the the disk cannot be read and needs to be re inserted but i cant as leopard isnt running so the eject button is useless, what can i do?

Shut down the computer and start up whilst holding down the mouse button. This may take some time, but keep your finger on the mouse button right up until the disc comes out or the log-in screen has appeared.

just tried that but i need to get it out and back in whilst on the black screen, otherwise it just reloads as leopard, the black screen just says 'no boot found please re insert boot disk and press any key'
