Hi! I'm looking at buying accessories or software for a Christmas present for someone; they have a new C2D Macbook. What would you recommend? Any highly recommended speakers, peripherals, games, apps, etc.? What would you like for Christmas for your Mac this year? (Or, what would your Mac like for Christmas? :)) I'm looking in the "less than $250" range, but feel free to talk about any product you want.

Thanks! Merry Christmas.

Give some information about this person who you are buying for, are they a students, professional, etc? What do they use their computer for most?

I'm wanting a Bluetooth mouse to go with my new MacBook Pro. I'm not sure if I want the Mighty Mouse though... I like it but so many people complain about it.

Do they have a case yet? Anytime I get a new laptop the first thing I get is a case for it.

As far as Apps go, I would love to get Aperture. It's like iPhoto only way better. It's a little pricey though. I'm hoping to get it while I still have student status for $150. I'm an amature photographer and Aperture is great for anyone more than just a snap shooter.

You could even get an iPod for $250!

Good call. Well, 20-year old university student, likes hacking (as in experimenting with his computer), programming, music, photography. He isn't huge into the media side (like video or pro photography) aside from music. He is interested in starting home automation, and does a lot of math/science research work with his Mac. He already has any (mainstream) programs that he needs for that, though.

It would be pretty funny if he read this, though. Hi, bro! Merry Christmas!

Thanks everyone for replying. Oh, and he does have an iPod already. Good call, though. BT mouse is a great idea, too.
