Mac AD binding fail? Microsoft updates cve-2021-42287

Previously, Jamf had a post regarding a Microsoft security enforcement on domain controllers that would break the Mac AD binding. The article indicates there would be a permanent enforcement in October. Is anyone aware of this? Does anyone have a potential workaround to address this enforcement? Thanks
