mac, adium, facebook, gmail help

i know there have been all sorts of little quirks and trouble with the new adium update and people's use of gchat, etc. but i've got quite a strange one.

i have my aim, gchat, and facebook accounts linked to adium.
when i sign onto my facebook account, i get a pop up from adium saying i have one new msg in my gmail box...and when i go to my inbox, i don't.

i have gmail notifier, it would tell me. this only happens when i sign onto my facebook account through adium.

any tips on how to get rid of this?

- Status: fixed for 1.3.6
- two possible solutions:
1. deactivate Facebook in Adium and wait for 1.3.6
2. use the 1.4b8 beta (http://beta.adium.im).
