Mac Air ad blocker and Chrome problem

I disabled my ad blocker (?) and can't remember which one that I had. Best recommendation? Also, I cannot get Chrome to automatically log in my password any longer even after checking it on their advanced settings. Not sure how to communicate with Chrome. Any ideas?

My recommendation is uBlock Origin. I'm not sure what do you mean by password. If you save any login information for websites in Chrome to automatically fill it in - stop right now. They are stored unencrypted. This is the worst thing you can do for your security. Use a password manager like 1Password or Dashlane instead. By the way, using Chrome is really bad for your privacy and speed of your computer. If you can use Firefox or at least Safari instead.
