Hi

I just replaced the lcd of my macbook and now the backlight does not work. when I turn on the laptop, the lcd works but the backlight does not turn on.

Model: Macbook air, 11 inches model A1370, 2011.

I tested the fuse, according to the logic board schematic, it was burnt, I replaced the fuse but still no backlight.

I soldered some wire (see the pic) to the input/output of the WLED driver (LP8550). the supply voltages are ok. The enable input is not active and accordingly the output is not boosted.

I am not sure if this is the problem with the driver or the LEDs. I think if the loop is not complete (e.g. the LEDs are burnt) the feedback to the driver returns a fault which will shut off the driver... is that true?

do you know any way to test the LEDs, does anybody know the pining of the LEDs?

Thanks
