.Mac and backup

Just finally broke down and got .mac by getting the $30 off because someone i knew bought a mac. Anyways.I have a couple questions
1. How is the backup software?
2 what are your favorite things about .Mac and
3. How much better is .mac going to be with leopard

1. I don't really notice Backup so I guess that's a sign of a good backup app. I've used it to restore a few machines and it has been fine. No problems to report.
2. My favourite .mac feature is the ability to sync machine settings and data across the 'net. Specifically, I like the fact all my Macs have the same iCal and Address Book data.
3. It will be roughly 35-42% better on Leopard.

Remember that it'll make Safari seem a little snappier too. Have you accounted for that?
