Hi All

I have an issue with Sending Meeeting Requests to a Subscribed Public Calander in Outlook 2011 Mac to an Exchange server.

I can view the Calendar okay but as soon as I try and create meeting and send invites I get the following message.

"This meeting invitation cannot be sent because it is in a Public Folder. To send a meeting invitation, you must create the event in the primary Exchange Calander"

Anyone come accross this before, if so any soloutions

Thanks

Rebuild Profile, or create a new one

We've had the same issue on two Macs (both running 10.8.5 and Outlook 14.3.6). On one, the issue was resolved by rebuilding the profile via the Microsoft Database Utility.

On the other, this did not resolved the issue, and we used the same utility to create a new profile. We then exported the "On My Computer" items to an .olm file, then imported it back into the new profile. Too early to tell if this will be a permanent fix or a band-aid, so we'll continue to look for the code that toggles this feature.
