Just bought a Synology NAS and I was figuring out how to make it work with my setup....my Aperture library is on my Mac Pro and I'd like to keep it local for speed (mostly RAWs, total of 400GB).

At the same time, I'd like to have a JPEG mirror of the library in the NAS, so that I can access it with Plex and Photo Station from outside (and, why not, in the future maybe create a web server with the albums I want to publish)

Does anyone have a workflow idea to automate the creation and update of a JPEG version of the Aperture library to the NAS?
Thanks!!

This is one area that Lightroom has it all over Aperture with it's publishing services. I battled with this in Aperture before switching to LR for other reasons, and then stumbled across the publish options in LR.

Hi.. I'm doing exactly this with Automator at the moment. Just write the workflow and save it. It's taken me a while to process my library, but once youve done that, punch your new photos through it when youve finished adjustment in Aperture.

Or just export to JPG in Aperture.....
