I have done some googling about this and apparently at one time it was possible to right/control-click an update on the Updates tab and choose "Hide Update"

In 10.13 (and potentially even in later 10.12 updates) this doesn't seem to be possible any longer. Or if it is I haven't been able to figure out the right place to click.

I ask this because the latest version of the app Vox moves some previously-free features to a subscription. I'd like to stick with the version I already have. But Apple is going to keep bugging me that I have updates to install, for eternity it seems.

So I'm curious if anyone else has figured out a way around this.

Did anyone find a fix or workaround for this? I've recently updated to 10.13 and I can no longer right-click an app; the menu that previously contained "Hide Update" doesn't appear at all.
