Apologies if already covered, but it looks like a huge raft of new apps have been added to the App Store today. Or at least, all the apps showing in the New and Noteworthy today are new.

I noticed that also. I wonder how many new apps have been submitted and are waiting for approval?
Not sure - although I just noticed these apps were all added on the 8th Feb; so it looks like Apple is doing periodic releases; rather than putting them up as soon as they're tested.
