Why none of the useful apps for Mac are in the Mac App Store? I mean apps such as: MS Office for Mac, Skype, Photoshop, ets.? Why the developers aren't putting their apps in the Mac App Store, is it because they have to pay to Apple?
Those companies already have name recognition - someone looking for MS Office or Skype already knows where to get it.
I think a big plus of having an App store is for smaller or lesser-known developers to put their apps in a showcase where people might have more luck finding them.
Probably Apple should charge less for the Mac App Store or not at all, any way Mac OS has the reputation of "there is no programs for Mac" or "You'll never find the software available for a PC also available for Mac". And what about the free apps, such as Skype or OpenOffice? It would be more convenient of they are in the Mac App Store. And as long as I know Apple does not charge for free apps.
