Mac Applications folder??

I am using the 10.56 version of Mac OS x on my mac mini and am having one small problem. Before I had a folder in my dock that looked like the application folder now it looks like the icon for the last application I installed. How do I get the application icon back??

Right click on it, and where is says "Display As" select "Folder"
