So I have .Mac and two computers I want to back up.

Can I back up both computers using Back-up software and the .Mac servers?

Has anyone had a back-up restore from Apple's servers not work for them?
I have never had to use it (luckily) but was wondering how reliable it is.
Several times I have had a back-up fail and been forced to reset the back-up.

(I know I can backup to dvd/cd all I want, but would like to have basic files both on the server at Apple.

I use backup. I back up to my .mac as well as an external. .mac is backing up some of the basic stuff like address book, bookmarks, etc.. never had to use my backup files, and I hope to keep it that way. Never tried to back up both my computers because I have them synced and the synced data is the same data that I am backing up... do you u se the syncing options?

Yes, I do snyc everything I can on three computers actally and a couple of palms. However I want to backup my documents that I create on each computer often and don't want to bother backing-up on dvd/cd each week.
