Mac backup on NAS and kernel panic

Hi

I used Get Backup for quite along time on external USB drive
I backup my user folder without issue

I also has a time machine backup but i feel safer to have a secondary backup, not incremental, just a copy of my home folder
Yesterday i got DS214 setup and running

When i try to backup on NAS after a while i get kernel panic, since it never happen it was easy to find that is backup software
i tried 3 time with 3 kernel panic

i also try same thing with CCC and got a kernel panic

i'm want to backup my home folder
both software make my chose folder by browsing on finder connected disk

i did use Synk before, but is not under develop since a long time, and when i did backup to an external ddid did ask for mounting credential, I wonder it this make some difference

I also enabled JUMBO frames, mac switch and NAS are jumbo frames capable

can you raccomand an alternative software?

You are tring to backup an HFS+ volume to a smb NAS drive. Did you reformat a partition for that backup on the NAS?

I don't think that is your issue. The NAS uses its own format and that should not matter. CCC is usually very stable at this kind of thing, so this is off.

Try putting the jumbo frames setting back to default since that is the only other change you made.

today i did try to FTP with panic transmit and got an other kernel panic

disabling Jumbo frame solved the issue
non sure why it happens
