.mac being mean :(

so i keep trying to turn on back to my mac or at least sync things with .mac but it won't let me do either. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

well as it turns out the syncing currently works, but in reality that's not what i care about, back to my mac is. I currently hit the "start" button in back to my mac and nothing happens. I have tried this with file/screen sharing on/off to no avail. what can i do
