Mac Book brightness adjustment for Photoshop.

Hey what brightness settings do you guys use when editing a photo in PS and printing? I was curious to know if there was a specific setting on the mac as standard.

For print, it is generally recommended that you use a rather low luminance value when calibrating. I think most people recommend between 80-100cd/m2. Of course, ambient light will affect the accuracy, so it's best if you can calibrate and work in a space with constant light, both in terms of intensity and temperature. Not all calibration programs will allow you to specify cd/m2, however, so you might have to choose "minimum" for luminance or something like that. I use ColorEyes Display Pro, which does allow you to specify luminance.
