As you may know, on XP when you click on a file, details on the bottom left corner of the window show the file size, date modified, amount of files selected, etc. I was wondering if there were any apps that allowed that to happen, as it would make keeping free space easier. Thanks guys.

-the bottom of the finder window shows you how much space is free on that drive and how many files are in a folder,

-You can also hit "Command + I" and get info on a folder / file

-you can also go into details view mode in finder and see different details on files

-hope some of this helps...

There is also the Inspector (option+command+i), which is much like the Get Info window (command+i, as Drumjim85 pointed out) except that it will update to display information on the currently selected file (useful when you have a lot of files that you want to know more details about, rather than having to hit cmd+i for every file/folder)
