Mac book for Xcode

Hi which older model of Macbbok will run xcode? looking for a used macbook to do so codework.

rMBP 15" 2012 works great.

While the performance of the rMBP 2012 15" will be fine, it will be considered obsolete by Apple in 2019. Don't be surprised if macOS 10.15 no longer supports that model. I suspect the last version of macOS to officially support that model may be macOS 10.14, which comes out fall 2018.
