I had already used bootcamp and had windows on my mac back pro late 2011. I then went into disk utility and deleted the bootcamp partition (I did this because I wanted to use bootcamp to get windows 8).

Bootcamp didn't work anymore. It keeps on telling me that windows disc is not in (when it clearly is).

Screw bootcamp, I went into disk partition and made a new partition in ExFat format. When I restarted the mac book, I can't see my new partition, it does not recognize it!

I reformatted the disk and reinstalled my Mac OS. Still the same problem. It seems the problem is that my mac makes the partition but I cannot access it when I boot the computer.

Can anyone please help me? I literally read through hundreds of threads, all over the internet, but no one has the same problem as me. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
