Mac Book Pro and HP Officjet 8600 and Microsoft Word

Hello.

I have the HP Officejet 8600 pro with tray 1 and tray 2.

I have two mac book pros and would like to set up the following:-
Macbook 1: Print from Tray 1
Mackbook 2: Print from Tray 2

I have managed to set this up for the following:
Printing from TextEdit
Printing a PDF
Printing from Safari/the internet.

However, when it comes to Word, I can only print from one tray on both Macs. Both Macs wil only print from Tray 1 on Word.

I have tried:
Cmd P to get to the print screen
Where it says 'copies & pages' I select 'paper type/quality'
I select Source 'tray 2'
I then click on the presets menu and select 'save current settings as pre-set'
And label the preset 'Tray 2' and click 'only for this printer.'

Then I go to print and it still prints from Tray 1.

When I quit Word and re-open and try to print again, tray 2 is saved as a pre-set but it still only prints from Tray 1.

It is very odd that this is only happening with Word. All the other programmes happily print from two seperate trays for two seperate computers.

Any idea how I can fix the settings on Word?
