mac book pro? fading?

well isaw my uncles laptop whic he has had for a year and ts a dell. the place where he rest his hands id faded and discolored.

does MBP do that?

I have seen pictures of peoples MBP where their wrist would sit were turning black. This is a weird topic and will spark some people mentioning if you have sweaty wrist that it could cause an issue with your wrist pads.

Everything wears if you use it, just face it.

Nope. I had a Powerbook which was 4 years old and hadn't faded in the slightest (and I have sweaty wrists).

The MBP is made of a metallic material that allows you to easily clean any palm residue. You can also purchase a protector to prevent getting any residue on the actual MBP as well. Here is what I got.
