I'm running OSX 10.8.4 on a retina MBP 15 (Mid 2012).
I notice that my Wifi connection drops - file downloads go down to 0KB/sec and pages stop loading when I use my Windows 8 laptop (NEC LaVie Z). The Mac never loses the signal however and the strength remains good (all stripes are black).
I am forced to disable and re-enable my WiFi and the problem goes away for a few minutes before returning. My router is a 5th Gen AEBS. WPA2 Personal security is set. Channels are set as automatic. The signal strength is good. The two machines are about 1.5m away from each other.

I tried setting my LaVie to use the 5GHz frequency while using 2.4GHz on the Mac, and vice versa but this does not help. Resetting the AEBS also does not help. The only thing which helps is turning the Wifi off on the LaVie.

Is there anything else I could try? Thank you.
