so i think my mother board in my Mac Book Pro got a power zap smells really bad and wont turn on i have a warranty with best buy with it do you think they will have to replaced just the board or give me a new one? its also been dropped a few times and needs a new screen as well

Dropping it has probably voided any warranty you might have had. You're most likely SOL.

I can't believe people aren't more careful with their expensive electronics.

Feels like he is entitled to free service for his own mistakes, that's why things are more expensive than they should be.

Hey, don't forget about the screen and that the computer "smells really bad." Amazes me as well, I also wonder if those who purchase with their own money tend to be more careful than those who got the machine purchased for them.

i had bought the accidental warranty with it to cover it if anything was to happen to it

its not free seeing i have bought the extra protection for it.
