Mac book Pro shutting down

I have a Macbook Pro laptop and sometimes it just shuts down for no apparent reason. I have never been using it when it does this, so it may be because of overheating. Any suggestions?

If it IS overheating, install Fan Control

It will show up in your System Preferences, and you can set it to have a higher minimum rpm and other things.
