Mac book pro's battery life.

Hi guys, I'm new here and have got a few questions.

charging- I work on my desk quite a lot and have heard that if you leave your 13'' MBP constantly on charge it will wreck your battery..... is this true?

MSN- how do I get my webcam to work on MSN for Mac?

I don't think the current version supports it, but I don't know for sure. Someone else can probably answer this more definitively.
