My wife has a Mac Book pro 13 inch. I just purchased her a 21 inch Samsung SyncMaster 216bw monitor so she could use it instead of the laptop monitor when at home. The problem is this: The screen only looks good at the highest resolution and at the highest resolution it does not fill the entire monitor. How do I get it to look the same as on the laptop? At the lower resolutions it looks blurry. Thanks!!

from the title it read like you wanted to use two external screens with a macbook which cant be done.

make sure your press F7 (button with two squares) ont he MacBook keyboard to get out of mirrored displays and set it as extended display. then check out the Displays preferences. under arrangement drag the menu bar from the small screen to the big screen. then select the native resolution under Display.
