A few weeks ago I upgraded to Snow Leopard. I'm running Win XP on Boot Camp. My 2nd gen white Macbook developed this weird issue where it boots directly into Startup Manager unless I hold the Option key. If I hold down Option, it boots directly to OS X. It other words, my Mac is acting in reverse.
I want it to boot normally (to OS X unless I hold the Option key). I tried setting the Startup Disk settings in both Mac and Windows to Mac, and reset the PRAM, but no dice.
What's even more unusual is that sometimes it will boot normally into OS X, but most of the time (maybe 75% of the time) it will go to Startup Manager first.
When I installed Snow Leopard, Software Update also upgraded my keyboard firmware, which I'm wondering might have caused the problem. Any ideas?
