I have a WD 1.5 TB external hard drive which I formatted in OSX to mac format.
I plug the hard drive into windows XP and use Mac Drive on windows to read it.
It all work fine until I bring the hard drive back in to Mac.
Mac can not recognize the hard drive, it doesn't even show up on Disk Utilities.
I bring the hard drive back to windows XP and it reads fine.
I made sure I safely removed the hard drive first before I remove the hard drive from windows and bring it back to Mac.
It can only be recognized on Windows but not Mac.
Does any one have a solve to this problem so I can read the Hard Drive in Mac again?

Thanks,

I seem to be having the same problem. I have a WD 1 GB My Book Essential and it doesn't work in Mac OS X anymore. After several plugging in and outs, I can get Windows in Boot Camp to read off it. I've got my data out of it but I can't format it. It doesn't show up in Disk Utility or System Profiler but it shows up fine in Windows.
