it's the oddest thing.

I can't connect to certain wifi networks on it mac while my iPod touch can. I can connect, just pages won't load on my MacBook but will on my iPod touch.

Right now I'm connecting on this iPod touch via wifi connection called d link. But my currently opened mac won't load pages or retrieve mail. The very same situation occurs when I take both my mac and itouch toy friends house and try to connect to his wifi network.

What speed is the router?
b/g? or does it also have N capable as well?

the ipodtouch is b/g i think, the router may be programmed to only accept certain wifi speeds?

is there a way to check on the router to see if its only accepting b/g or what.
id think the macbook would still be able to connect but just downspeed its wireless.
