Hey all,

My mac believes I'm on GMT time whatever I do. When I set time to automatic, and save my time zone (pacific time - los angeles), it doesn't save those settings and keep displaying gmt time.

If I set the time manually, it displays it correctly on the upper right hand corner, but obviously something's wrong, since in Mail and other applications, the time is still off by 8 hours.

This is a brand new Intel Macbook 13" and I've never used boot camp, or installed windows.

Thanks!
Ben.
