Does anyone know of any site that might have a Mac comparison app, where you could select any two Macs, past or present and get a set of benchmarks to compare the relative improvement you would see going from one to the other?
I know it would be difficult, if not impossible due to benchmarking programs changing over time, but it would be cool to see how much of an improvement one of today's Macs is compared to, say a PowerMac 8500/120.
In my case, I'll be moving from a MDD 867MHz DP to a solo 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro. Yeah, I know I'll see a phenomenal improvement, but it'd be fun to see the numbers.
