Everything looks normal to me........
Just kidding!
Did we run first aid, reset pram and all that basic stuff?
Check in system presences and power settings, make sure the Mac is scheduled not to go off or on.

Ok I did most of it and left the computer for a while, same error message.

after running "First Aid, what did the results say?
and quit parallels just to see if that is the problem.
don;t worry about the panic report, there is nothing you can alter in that code.

What version of Parallels?

Latest version - Version 13.3.2 (43368)

Gave me the green sign - all good. Yes quit many times, this problem is already 4 weeks old - just tired of it now and finally have time to look into it. Interesting fact is that over last night I closed the lid, open it this morning and nothing was crashed so it is not all the time.

Just to be clear, if Parallels is not running, this never happens when exiting sleep?

The error log is showing "AppleEmbeddedOSSupport" driver is failing to respond to a wake-up. I believe that is related to the T1/T2 chip... If you have a Touchbar, any issues with it not working? I would head over to the Parallels support board with that log.

thanks a lot for this note. I found additional forum posts after your explanation and there seems to be a problem with the touchbar. My question is, could it be the combination of touchbar plus parallels?

Definitely could be, that's why I asked if you can reproduce the problem when not running Parallels. You might want to experiment a bit with sleep and Parallels off.

Did this happen to start after you upgraded to ".6"? I notice there is a thread here about slow to wake after the upgrade. It's possible that is the issue and Parallels isn't waiting long enough for the wake to occur.

If you post over in the Parallels forum, there is usually support people from the company monitoring them. They probably will be helpful since you have the crash log.

Just to keep everyone updated. I had a call with parallels and they told me that it is not parallels fault.
Since I deleted parallels it seems like it is not crashing anymore but it takes about 30-40 seconds to wake up the computer - something is wrong (hyphtohesis). Scheduled a call with Apple now.

I have the 2017 mbp, does it have a t2 too?

Just checked T1 chip

BTW, the article talk about Kernel 17.4.0 I have 17.7.0 (checked in terminal uname -r command) after re-install. Not sure what I had before.
