Mac crashes while transferring big files.

While transferring big files, my MacBook Pro suffers from crashes. Just for the information I have recently reinstalled my MacBook. Rest everything is working fine but moving files become hard. Can anyone help me for this?

How large are the files you're trying to move?
If you're moving several at a time, have you considered moving -fewer at a time- ??
