recently I updated my good old mid 2010 macbook pro's hard drive with the fast mx100 from crucial but been having the "ARCD" apple random crash display..

Not much help but I just ordered this hard drive. Installing it tonight. I guess we'll see if this is a common thing.

Do you have an external USB enclosure you can put the drive in then option key boot from there to test it? Often times the internal drive cable on these will fail causing symptoms like you described. Booting from an external enclosure would remove the cable from the picture to tell you if that is the problem.
 
I have had mine in here now for a couple of hours on a clean install and installed my usual programs and so far so good. Maybe a hard drive cable for you after all or maybe I'm speaking too soon. *knocks on wood.
