mac date and time problem help please

i had some problem with internet so was just trying for solutions in net and got through an article which stated to adjust date and time and when i opened my ma date and time settings i was shocked to see year was set to 1935 .

and when i try to set the year it only gets up to the year 1959 and stops .

please help me how can i set up correct date.

any advices please.

In the Date & Time system preferences make sure your Time ZOne is set correctly and then set it to automatically set date and time. Do choose the time time server that is correct for your part of the world. You will want to reboot after you make this change- mostly because your date setting is so off.
