My mail wasn't getting picked up so I went to mac.com using my browser and got this:

Http/1.1 Service Unavailable

I have seen the mail go down before, but never this! Is there some sort of denial of service or something going on at Apple?

I'm getting similar results. I tried backup up some Windows files this morning to my iDisk and it crashed every time (and was extremely slow when connecting). I'm beginning to wish I had never wasted my time on .mac! If I have to change email again it will be painful.

.Mac Down?

Has anyone else noticed that .Mac has gone down. The Mail servers are rejecting my password and I'm getting a Server Error when logging in at www.mac.com.

Anyone else getting this problem?.

Hope they are fixing something. Been slow as $&%^ lately and several times Ive tried to upload a rather large file to my shared folder I got disconnected.

"Normal service has been restored"

Certainly not for me...unless they consider intermittent to be "normal"

Me neither. Not even close to 'normal'. I can't even connect to the server, neither can my mate. I hate paying for .mac when this happens...

IMAP is definitely not working. For what .Mac costs this amount of downtime is really unacceptable. I've been thinking about not renewing. This pretty much clinches it because I can't think of any reason to keep it anyway, not for $200/yr.

I was having a problem for the past hour or so but it seems to be working now. Still a little slow though.
