Mac DVD player best settings

What are the best settings for the DVD player and general video playing in Leopard, what with interlacing etc.

I want to get a good image with little jagged edges.

Im using a new 24" iMac if that makes any difference.

I'd just play with different settings and see if you notice a difference. Are you seeing jagged edges now? Isn't leopard supposed to have a better DVD player?
