.Mac email changed to .me so I cannot change password

Am I missing something?

My .mac email address has stayed the same on my entourage and mac mail account on iphone which is great but I want to change my password.

So I went to mac.com to change my password and realized that my account on there has changed to .me account.

So I changed my password on there and expected to get a change password request on my entourage and mac mail accounts but didn't and the original password is the same on there.

Am I doing something wrong?
