Hello everyone,
I am having real trouble with my mac email.
I have used gmail with many aliases for quite some time.
The way that I set this up is;
I set up a primary gmail address.
Then in the mail settings I add each alias email with a comma after the first gmail address.
I know this is a widely used method.
Then in gmail I setup the alias as a "send mail as"
With the newest version of mail when I send an email from the alias all looks correct. It shows the primary gmail address as the email with the alias as the name.
Essentialy.
Primary is 1@gmail.com.
alias is 2@gmail.com
When I send email as 2@gmail.com it shows.
from: 1@gmail.com <2@gmail.com>
Sorry if this is a bit confusing.
Any help would be appreciated.
I searched around the forum for something similar.
But I could not find anything.
