.mac email question

I've asked this in one news thread already but questions there usually go overlooked so I am going to ask it here again.

Does anyone know if you can make an add-on email account into a full .mac account and if they give you the aliases for the email-only one too or do you just get one email adress?

You can add up to 5 aliases to your .mac email. Just go to mac.com and look under mail preferences.
